She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Owen and Della Marie Johnson Edwards; and her husband Stephen Rutledge Sullivan. She is survived by: her children, Julie Sullivan Lee of Independence, Kentucky and Patrick Owen Sullivan (Ashley) of Frankfort, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Owen Lee, David Lee, Jackson Sullivan, Noah Lee, Elijah Lee and Madeline Sullivan; and her sisters, Sharon Richardson of Lexington, Kentucky and Marsha Phillips of Lexington, Kentucky. She is also survived by numerous other extended family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pleasant View Baptist Church (13571 KY-1247, Waynesburg, KY 40489). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at the Buffalo Springs Cemetery (630 KY-78, Stanford, KY 40484).
