He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Simpson and Cloe Simpson; and his grandfather Bob. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Simpson (Rust); his son-in-law Larry Davis; his siblings, Rayburn, Orville, Ben, Opal, Gene Simpson, Zella Elliott and Lord; his daughters, Melanee Davis and Lori Sorrell (Tom); his grandchildren, Keturah Lunsford (John), Jessica Dickson (John), Courtney Cooper (Clay), Corey Sorrell (Jess) and Casey Sorrell (Hannah); and his great grandchildren, Avery, Zane Lunsford, Jada Dickson, Camden, Kaylee Sorrell, Clay, Caden Cooper, Caroline and Kennedy Sorrell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's honor to the Kelsey Ann Sorrell Memorial Scholarship Fund. Donations can be made at any Truist Bank.
