He was predeceased by: his father Thomas T. Turner; and his sister Paula Sewell. He is survived by: his mother Monzell Griffith Turner; his wife Sandi Fryar Turner; his children, Dakota Turner (Harlee), Derrick Turner (Rachel), Tommy Turner, Justin McQueen (Michelle), Jenny Walton (Jeff), Nickie Pope (Denny) and Jamie McQueen; and his sisters, Karen Chitwood (Mike) and Dion Harris (Kris). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
