She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Stevens Jr. and Ruth Gene Fisk Stevens; and her husband Wayne Ballinger. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Gene Ballinger Johnson and Kelly Ballinger (Jennifer); her siblings, Wayne Stevens (Kelly) and Sherry Jahnke (Mark); her grandchildren, Andrew Ballinger (Brittany), Aric Johnson (Cristi), Tyler Ballinger, Alisha Gene Sievers (Eric), Carly Hickey (Logan) and Cassidy Ballinger-Boone; and her great grandchildren, Caleb Ballinger, Ezra Hickey and Eden Hickey.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Chambers and Grubbs (8461 Dixie Hwy, Florence, KY 41042). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens (5336 Old Taylor Mill Rd, Taylor Mill, KY 41015).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
