She was predeceased by : her parents, Talmadge Ballinger and Ada Monroe Ballinger; her husband Robert F. Spencer; her granddaughter Erin Cully; and her siblings, Emerson Ballinger, Clyde Ballinger, Paul Ballinger, Glen Ballinger, Lucille Gillespie and Wanda Gillespie.

She is survived by : her daughters, Karen Spencer Thornton of Latonia, KY and Lisa Spencer of Independence, KY; her siblings, Geneva Thompson, Jewel Curtis and Donald Ballinger; and her grandchildren, Chelsea Knipper, Hannah Knipper (Chris), Tyler Thornton (Lisa) and Tess Thornton. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (409 Ridgeway Ave, Falmouth, KY 41040).
