She was predeceased by: her husband George Strouse; her son Edward Strouse; and her sister Barbara Comerchero. She is survived by: her children, Cheri Olson (Mike), Tim Strouse (Kathy) and Amy Butler (Jim); and her siblings, Beverly Linger, Sandra Burgener (Steve) and Richard Carlisle (Sandy). She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home - Independence (11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at the Independence Cemetery (5358 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051).
