With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John George Sanders of Independence, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Sanders and Vivian Sanders (Mullins). He is survived by: his wife Teresa Sanders (Armstrong); his children, Jennifer Martin (Sanders), Amanda Apicella (Vinnie), Stuart Watton (Mollie), Elizabeth Botts (George) and Christopher Sanders (Beth); his grandchildren, Jaylen Navas, Jarren Navas, Shia Fingerman, Gwendolyn Fingerman, Ariane Botts and George Botts; and his great grandchildren, Cambryn Botts and Brooklyn Botts.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Don Catchen Funeral Home (3525 Dixie Hwy, Elsmere, KY 41018).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
