We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2023, at the age of 59, John D Ramey Jr. of Independence, Kentucky, born in Miami, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John D. Ramey, Sr. and Barbara Anne Reed Ramey; his pet Trigger; and also Joe Sublett. He is survived by : his daughter Heather Ramey of Harlan; his aunts, Ella Thurston of Louisville and Edith Roe of Lexington; his goddaughter Olivia Ratliff; his close friends, Kent Miles and Russell Williams; and also Carolyn Garner of Mt. Sterling.
