He was predeceased by: his son Wayne Dees; his mother Lillian Jane Miracle; and his father-in-law Bunny Gambrell. He is survived by: his wife Connie Dees; his children, Kourtney Hurst (Brandon) and David Dees; and his grandchildren, Kynleigh, Whitley Hurst and Aaron Dees. He is also survived by siblings, nieces, nephews, in-laws, extended family, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home - Independence (11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
