She is survived by: her husband Danny Stephens; her stepchildren, Sheryl Vollmer (Kurt), Donna Hawkins, Lynnette Stephens, Danny Stephens II (Jaime) and Marc Stephens (Tracy); her siblings, Mike Kruse and Susan Spenneberg; and her grandchildren, Samantha Hampton and Alan Hampton Jr..
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home - Independence (11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Stephens family to help provide care for Virginia's beloved horse, Buster.
