He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Walker Harless and Gladys Osborne Harless; late wife: Gertrude Workman Harless; daughters: Hester Harless (Frankie Spence), Jessica Harless, Kathy Persinger, Gladys Pearl Fletcher, Sandy Hammond, and Patsy Ramey; sons: Roger Harless, Bernard Harless Jr, Homer Allen, and Kenneth Harless; daughter-in-law: Becky Harless; sons-in-law: David Hammond and Elbert Fletcher; sisters: Rushie Pelican, Irene Cook, Ethel Crum, Mary Howard, and Suzie Workman; brothers: Homer Harless, Floyd Harless, George Harless, Clarence Harless, David Harless, and Win Harless; grandchildren: David Jackson "DJ" Hammond, Andrea Hammond (Andy), Jason Fields, Amanda Fields, Kristen Maynard, James Harless, Madison Harless, Helen Harless, Bernard Harless, Trudie Harless, Rachel Harless, Nevaeh Hope McCoy, Courtney Hammond, Brandy Stafford, James Ramey, and Tommy Ramey; and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Crum Funeral Home (498 New Rte 3, Inez, KY 41224). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at the Harless Family Cemetery.
