She was predeceased by: her parents, Shadle Fletcher and Lizzie Fletcher (Dye); her former husband Jeff Jude; her husband Benny Sweeney; her daughter Barbara Sweeney (Delbert); her grandson James Anthony "Bear" Jude; her great grandchild Alexis "Lexie" Jude; and her children-in-law, Evelyn Castle, Ronnie Ratliff and Everett Lee Sweeney.
She is survived by: her children, James Arthur Jude (Shannon Goble) of Lawrence County, KY, Richard Hayes Jude (Norma Jean) of Martin County, KY, Wallace Jude (Tammy) of Lawrence County, KY, Norma Jean Blevins (Anthony) of Johnson County, KY and Shirley Ratliff (Michael Scott) of Wayne County, WV.; her siblings, Arthur Fletcher (Dolly) of Martin County, KY, Herbert Fletcher (Edna) of Lawrence County, KY, Edgar Fletcher (Mary) of Martin County, KY, Ruby Fannin (Willard Maynard) of Martin County, KY and Wanda Jude (Johnny) of Martin County, KY; and her daughters-in-law, Creasy Jude and Treana Copley Jude. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM at the Walnut Grove Freewill Baptist Church (57 Walnut Grove Church Rd, Lowmansville, KY 41232). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Crum Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
