It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dewey James II of Inez, Kentucky, who passed away on June 2, 2023, at the age of 25, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Dewey James Jr. Dewey. He is survived by: his mother Mary Porter Workman; his grandfather Albert Porter; his stepfather David Collins; his son Corey Lee James; his sisters, Sabrina James (Casey Childers) of Louisa, KY and Tabitha James (Will Bob Johnson) of Williamson, WV.; his grandmother Virginia Porter of Inez; and his nieces and nephews, Morgan Childers, Keegan Childers, Abigail Johnson and Gabriella Johnson.
