She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Johnson and Frances Johnson (Evans); her husband Matthew Thompson; and her siblings, Curtis Johnson (Ruth), Andrew Johnson (Brenda), Vicie Chaffin (Ray), Betty Copley (Ralph), Ethel Ratcliff (Floyd) and Shirley Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Thompson of Webb, WV and Julie Coleman (Billy) of Webb, WV; her brothers, David Johnson of Webb, WV and Phill Johnson (Patty) of Webb, WV; her grandchildren, Tiffanie Breeding (Luke), Tyler Coleman (Jordan), Ava Thompson and Avary Thompson; and her great grandchildren, Mattilyn Breeding, Myles Breeding, Ziona Coleman and Ari Coleman.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Webb Freewill Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
