He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil McGinnis and Beulah McGinnis; his brother Winfield "Peewee" McGinnis; his brothers-in-law, Nathan Gale Maynard, Kelly Crum and Bobby Cornette; his sister Gale Delong; his parents-in-law, Glenn and Shirley Cornette; and his nephews, Greg Delong and Nathan James Maynard.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Cornette McGinnis of Inez, KY; his daughter Sinead McGinnis of Inez, KY; his brother Joe Delong (Terry) of Floyd County, KY; his brothers-in-law, Mike Cornette (Ramona) of Debord, KY, Greg Porter (Lou) of Debord, KY and Joe Cornette of Inez, KY; his sister Joan Crum of Debord, KY; his sisters-in-law, Jenny McGinnis and Dee Maynard; his grandchildren, Jordyn Mollette, JaLynn McGinnis and Izaiah McGinnis; and his close friend Colby Wright.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral arrangements.
