She was predeceased by : her mother Mary Bell "Tennie" Harless of Inez; her husband Johnson C. Preece (JC); her son Terry L. Preece; and her brothers, Raymond, Clarence, Dean, Roger, Wheatly, Frank, Leo, Shack, George and Robert.

She is survived by : her sister Lunda Moore; her sister-in-law Lou Haney (Mickey); her daughter-in-law Sheila Preece of Inez, KY; her granddaughters, Christy Staten (Paul) of Union, KY and Tara Fletcher (Chris) of Inez, KY; and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Mia, Maddie, Jesse, Terry and Henry. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
