He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Haney and Oledia Bowen Haney; his wife Elizabeth Haney; and his daughter Sherry Mayes. He is survived by: his daughter Linda Whitt; his sisters, Diana Lynn Haney of Inez, KY and Debra Collins of Huntington, WV.; and his grandson Joe Davis of Columbus, OH..
