He was predeceased by: his wife Ida Smith (Jude); his daughter Brenda Gayle Smith; and his siblings, Ersel, Emzy, George, William, Henry Smith, Thelma Stepp (Smith), Elma Preece (Smith), Mary Recand (Smith) and Helen Fields (Smith).
He is survived by: his children, Sharon of Inez, Hazel of Inez and Craig Smith of Inez; his brother James Smith; his sister-in-law Ruth Lowe (Jack); Ronnie Lowe, Christine Jude (Fields) and Lowell Wilson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
