Ruth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Shadle Fletcher and Lizzie Fletcher; and her son-in-law James D Scott. She is survived by: her husband Jerry; her children, Jimmy Jude (Sabrina), Mary Scott, Alan Castle and Edith Castle; her grandchildren, Jimmy, Austin, Teira (Joey), Carrie (Austin), Bessie, Mary, Lucas, Jayden J, Jordyn, Jensyn, Ariah, Emalyn, Jameson, Evelyn, Tinsley and Brayson; her siblings, Ruby (Willard), Herb (Edna), Edgar (Mary), Carma, Wanda (Johnny) and Arthur (Dolly); and also, Malissa, Zach, Jayden N, Jalynn, Jonah and Jullian Newsome. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
