He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hensley Sturgill; his daughter Joyce Marie Smith; his sister Brenda Sue; and his brother-in-law Dennis Gardner. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
