Ann Liza Tipton Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ann Liza Tipton (Irvine, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2026 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Warren Tipton; her parents, Hattie Stevens and William Stevens (Tom); the father of her children Jesse Stone; her daughter Janice Cooper; her siblings, Dorsey Hisel, Grace Powell and Dillard Stevens; and her grandson Ronald Cooper Griswold.

She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret Ann Banks of Lexington and Debra Jane Sparks of Estill County; her grandson Richard Stone (Sandra) of Arlington, Texas.; and her stepdaughters, Sue Tipton Collins and Connie Melear (Brad). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
