He was predeceased by: his parents, Cassius Townsend and Melinda Pitts Townsend; his daughter Paulana Kay Rawlins; and his siblings, Rhodie Gabbard, Jim Townsend, Buck Crowe and Georgie Townsend.
He is survived by: his daughter Sandra Combs (Estill Co); and his grandchildren, Olivia Townsend, Donnie Vickers, Chris Thacker, Shaina Davis, Samantha Combs and Stephanie Abney.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel (99 Cedar Grove Rd, Irvine, KY 40336).
