He was predeceased by : his father James G. Turpin; his wife Anna Ruth "Tootsie" Eckley Turpin; his siblings, Lois Murphy, Lucille Webb, Claire Portwood, Betty Witt, Harold, James and Glyndon Turpin; and his grandchildren, Gary Adams, II and Erin Nicole Turpin.
He is survived by : his children, Sondra Adams (Gary) and Kevin Turpin (Peggy); his grandchildren, April Stone (Jimmy), Miranda Snowden and Tyler Turpin (Jordan); and his great grandchildren, Ashley, Jenna Stone, Chandler and Cade Snowden.
