With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gentry McIntosh of Irvine, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 8, 2025 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond McIntosh and Allie Fox McIntosh; his siblings, Paul, Darrell, Barbara Louise and Michael Raymond McIntosh; his son-in-law Tracy Lee Riley Tackett; and his nephew Jason Wayne McIntosh.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret McIntosh of Beattyville, Kentucky; his children, Sharon McIntosh of Fostoria, Jennifer Tackett (Stephen) of Lexington and Charles McIntosh of Beattyville; his grandchildren, Hunter Chase McIntosh, Noah Montiel, Willow Rayne McIntosh and Sandra Collins; his siblings, Beverly Begley, Charles Begley (Marie), Larry Joe McIntosh (Rita), Don McIntosh (Mary) and Roy Gene McIntosh (Barbara Ann); and his grandchildren, Amia and Aiden Montiel. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Newnam Funeral Home Chapel (108 Center St, Beattyville, KY 41311). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
