She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Marcum and Rosetta Isaacs Marcum; her husband Howard; and her siblings, William Lewis Marcum, Luther Marcum, Eugene Marcum, Farris Marcum, Kenneth Marcum, Elmer Jr. Marcum, Wanda Barker (Jack), Anna Farthing (Sony) and Ina Fay Murphy.
She is survived by: her sisters, Opal Hogeback (Freddie), Arlene Clark (Hilyard) and Sheila Cox (Ledford). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
