He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bruce and Fannie Mae Martin Calmes; his wife Anna Virginia Wiseman; his siblings, Harold, Herman Calmes and Juanita Thomas; and his daughter Sarah Estes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Judith Adams (Tracy) and Jane Pendergrass (Randall Swain); his son-in-law Garry Estes; and his grandchildren, Bryan Adams (Lisa), Shaun Adams, Julie Raider (Brent), Alissa Bell (Kenny), Whitney Bingham (Jamie) and Peyton Leet (Dalton). He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the River Drive Christian Church (363 River Dr, Irvine, KY 40336). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Care Plus, Richmond, Kentucky and the River Drive Christian Church.
