He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Shepherd and Letcher Shepherd. He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Gray Shepherd; his daughters, Jonnell Shepherd-Whitson (Mark) of Doylestown, PA and Paula Barnes Dickens (Brian); his grandchildren, Annie Elizabeth Whitson, Austin John Whitson, Kerr Barnes Beebe and Rose Stevenson Beebe; his sister Susan Shepherd; and his nephews, David McGuire and Roger Clay Riddell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel (99 Cedar Grove Road, Irvine, KY 40336).
