John leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. John’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tharpe, Sr. and Mildred Tharpe; his sister Ilene Wright; and his stepdaughter Krystal Lowery. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Tharpe; his daughters, Misty Crowe (John Crowe), Destiny King (Shawn King) and Morgan Adkins (Bernie Adkins); his stepson Kurt Isaacs (Beth Isaacs); and his siblings, Charles Tharpe (Debbie Tharpe), Gerald Tharpe (Rhonda Tharpe), Richard Tharpe (Helen Tharpe), Ann Brooks (Bobby Brooks) and Kathy Briscoe. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
