As Linda Lou departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Linda Lou may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories we hold dear and the legacy Linda Lou leaves behind.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence Abner and Rebecca Johns Abner; her husband Charles W. Powell; and her siblings, Elizabeth Osborne, Thomas Abner and Larry "Sonny" Abner.

She is survived by : her sons, Charles Powell, Jr. (Tammy) and Estill Co; and her close friend Elisah John "Bobo" Freeman.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel (99 Cedar Grove Rd, Irvine, KY 40336). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
