He was predeceased by : his father Clifton Carlton Callahan. He is survived by : his mother Edna Betsy Jones Vancil; his wife Betty Bernice Mays Callahan; his stepchildren, Cynthia Foster, Madison Co and Jason Knight; and his siblings, Christina Callahan, Lisa Hock, Donna Tipton (Ronnie), Estill Co and Clifton "Bo" Callahan, Jr. (Bonita).
