Roger Glynn Richardson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Glynn Richardson (Irvine, Kentucky), who passed away on October 3, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, McDonald Richardson and Minnie Estes Richardson; and his son Christopher Wayne Richardson. He is survived by: his wife Ann Richardson; his daughter Shannon Chaney (Howard) of Richmond, KY; his stepson Anthony Rupard (Natalie) of Traverse City, MI; his grandchildren, Jakolbi Crowe (Brooke), Jessup Chaney, Anna Mae and Owen Rupard; his great grandchild Ivey Crowe; and his siblings, Donald Lee Richardson (Evelyn) of Clarksville, IN, Sandra Wilds (Joe) and Zoe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rice Station Christian Church (1675 Rice Station Rd, Irvine, KY 40336). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kentucky Steam Heritage Museum Fund, 499 Kirkland Ave, Irvine, KY 40336 in Roger's memory.
