She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Blackwell and Alfrieda Blackwell; and her niece Joey Daehler. She is survived by: her husband Paul Hughes; her daughters, Rebekah James (Terry) and Rachel Keeney (Chris); her grandchildren, WillowBelle James, Lyndon James and Oliver Keeney; and her siblings, Mike Blackwell (Linda) and Deborah Blackwell (Frank).
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Home of Irvine (224 Main St, Irvine, KY 40336). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
