She was predeceased by: her husband William Earl Farthing Jr.; her parents, Tom Hardy and Bertha Hall Hardy; her son Stephen Farthing; and her brothers, Clayton, Albert and Hugh Hardy.
She is survived by: her children, Tonya Farthing of Lexington, Amy Riddell of Irvine and Scott Farthing (Jenna) of Irvine; her siblings, Eunice Hortonbury of Frankfort, Ruby Riddell of Irvine, Kathy Carter (Jesse) of Irvine, Vivian Black of Frankfort and Pete Hardy (Louise) of Irvine; and her close friend Wayne Crooks. She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
