He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Cleveland Carwile and Jo Ellen Davidson; and his half-siblings, Gene Carwile, Chuck Carwile, Mable Goins and Mary Blanch.

He is survived by: his children, Cheyenne Nicole Carwile, Christopher Lee Carwile and Cassie Emmerson; his siblings, Jo Ann Pendleton (Paul) and Ralph Cleveland Carwile (Peggy); and his close friend Rocky.
