Chester Humphrey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Chester Humphrey of Island, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 4, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Elison and Louise Mitchell'Mike'Howard Humphrey; his wife Patricia; his daughter Vicki Ann Humphrey; his siblings, Steve Humphrey, Mason Humphrey and Janet Humphrey; his siblings-in-law, Connie Humphrey, Patti Humphrey and Junior Ashby; and his niece Stacy Burden.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Humphrey (Christie) of Utica and David Humphrey (Jennifer) of Calhoun; his grandchildren, Holley Craig (James), Ellison "Ellie" Humphrey, Hadley Humphrey, Gatlin Humphrey, Ryder Humphrey and Ana Hernandez (Juan); his close friend Phyllis Burden Humphrey; and his siblings, Robert Humphrey of Livermore, Elizabeth'Sis'Ashby of Greenville and Lydia Taylor (Henry Glenn) of Island. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
