James M. Farris Obituary
In loving memory of James M. Farris of Island, Kentucky, who departed this world on April 2, 2025 at the age of 90. James leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Veachel Farris and Ara Howard Farris; his granddaughter Crystal Scott; and his brother Paul (Bryant). He is survived by: his children, James E. Farris of Island, Ruth Ann Smith of Livermore and Norma J. Rowland of Island; his grandchildren, Sara, Adam, Matthew, Tyler, April, Crystral, Chris and Daniel; and his niece Virginia Drake. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel (212 E Broadway, Livermore, KY 42352). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at the Island Community Cemetery (380 W Main St, Island, KY 42350).
