He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, John Jent and Nola Combs Jent; his children, Tim Jent (Hailey) of Somerset and Stephanie Jent of Isom; his siblings, James Jent, Ralph Jent, Belle Martin and Lena Jent; his grandchildren, Christian Jent, Cruize Combs, Noah Jones, Kaydsen Jent and Camden Jent; and his great grandchild Waylon Jent.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Letcher Funeral Home (102 Main St, Whitesburg, KY 41858). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
