He was predeceased by: his parents, John Combs and Dessie Sexton Combs; his daughter Clashia Black; and his siblings, Luther, Earl, Denver, Henrietta Caudill and Wanda Collins.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Combs of Junction City and Janet Hall of Isom; and his siblings, Edmond Combs, Ernest Combs, Troy Combs and Letta Mae Hammonds.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Letcher Funeral Home (102 Main St, Whitesburg, KY 41858). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sandlick House.
