He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Chester Combs and Mary Russell Combs; his son Morgan Combs (Daphne) of Isom; his sisters, Nancy Childers of Jackson, Anna Sue Combs of Jackson, Virginia Gross of Jackson, Louise Gross of Jackson and Kathy Combs of Jackson; and his grandsons, Mason Combs and Ethan Brown.
