He is survived by: his children, Delbert Prater of Salyersville, Vinson Prater (Glenda) of Jackson and Helen Jean Brown of Hazard; his siblings, Alvin Prater (Carmie) of Jackson, Dallas Clemons of Jackson, Louella Lain (Larry) of Indiana and Paulin Dobbs (Robert) of Indiana, Special; his nephew Jeffrey Prater; his sister-in-law Brenda Klein; his son Edward Prater; and his siblings, Annette Napier, Leon Prater, Luther Prater, Everett Prater, Clyde Prater and Edward Prater. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren.
