She was predeceased by: her parents, Kennie Carpenter and Nancy Stacy Carpenter; her husband Raleigh Shepherd; her grandson Bryan Shepherd; and her brothers, John, Floyd, Bill, Squire, Billy, Kennie Jr. and Don Carpenter.
She is survived by: her children, Rita Burnat (Larry), Pam Noble (Charles), Sheila Mullins (Jim) and Greg Shepherd (Sharon); her grandchildren, Shawn Combs (Jamie), Chris Combs, Kendra Napier, Kenzie Noble, Charles Noble, Jr., Jessica Ritchie (Nate), Beth Helton (Chris) and John Molpus, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Addison Wright, Skylin Combs, Wes Noble, Aaron Goins, Parker, Peyton Miller, Carter, Colton Noble, Josie Kate, Tucker Ritchie, Luke and Lara Kay Helton; her siblings, Dwight Carpenter (Teresa), Jacqueline Carpenter, Judy Smith (Bill), Doshia, Dora, Dovie, Ida, Sue, Sarah and Marie; and her sister-in-law Lois Hunt.
