He was predeceased by: his parents, Hargis Henson and Lula Neace Henson; his son Daniel Wayne Henson; and his siblings, Will Henson, Hargis Henson Jr., Charlie Henson, Clarence Edward Watts, Raymond Pearl Henson, Izona Raleigh, Nancy Henson and Genova Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Lorenia White Henson of Jackson; his children, Lula Miranda Henson of Jackson and James Edward Henson of Jackson; his brother Warren Henson (Ruby) of Jackson; and his nephew Friends.
