He was predeceased by : his parents, Steve Spicer and Zelma Spencer Spicer; and his brothers, Wayne Spicer, Dan Spicer, Felix Spicer, Blaine Spicer and Dwight Spicer.

He is survived by : his sisters, Wanda Spicer, Evelyn Spicer and Loretta Kulpan; his wife Wilma Bryant Spicer of Jackson, KY.; his sons, Jason Edward Spicer (Cecily) of Jackson, KY and Larry Scott Spicer (Vicki) of Beattyville, KY.; his brother Windell Spicer of Beattyville, KY.; and his grandchildren, Levi Spicer, Cameron Spicer, Scott Spicer and Tiffany Spicer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
