JC Sewell, 77, Jackson passed away Monday, August 28, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. He was a tireless educator, an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved sailing, bird watching and classic cars. And most importantly he loved his family. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sandi Hays Sewell; sons, Daniel (Amber) Sewell & Joshua Sewell; grandchild, Asher Sewell; sister, Judy MacNutt; niece, Rachel; nephew, David; lifelong friends, Jane Ethel Smith, James "Jimbo" Sewell. A celebration of life memorial service will be held Thursday, September 7, 6:00 PM at the funeral home with Billy Joe Lewis and Daniel Sewell officiating with visitation beginning at 5:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers or donations the family would be delighted if you would hug your wife, children and family more often for a little longer.
