She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Benson and Betty Combs Benson; her husband Johnny Thorpe; and her brothers, John Benson and Russell Benson.
She is survived by: her sister Carol Benson; her daughter Betty Ann Thorpe of Jackson, KY.; her siblings, Glenn Benson, Kenneth R. Benson of Jackson, KY. and Sandra Kay Arrowood (Hershel) of Vancleve, KY.; and her nieces and nephews, Holden Arrowood and Rebecca Noble. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
