He was predeceased by: his parents, Leander Oaks and Clara Mae Watson Oaks; his siblings, Clifton Oaks, Robert Oaks, Leander Oaks, Jr., Sharon Dee Boggs Harvey, Sandra Davidson and Jackie Goad; and his father-in-law Clarence Hall.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Hall Oaks of Jackson, KY.; and his daughter Hayley Brianna Oaks of Jackson, KY.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
