He was predeceased by: his parents, William Turner and Golia Griffith Turner; and his brothers, Chester A. Turner, James Turner, Cecil Ed Turner and Paul Turner.

He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Sebastian, Wilma Jane Turner, Arminda Turner, Ann Ola Turner and Martha Turner; his wife Rosa Bea Hall Turner of Canoe, KY.; his children, William Morton Turner (Megan) of Winchester, KY. and Amanda Hall (Martin) of Prestonsburg, KY.; his siblings, Jasper Turner (Wanda) of Canoe, KY, Wilburn Turner of Newport, KY. and Grace Turner (Sammie) of Booneville, KY.; his grandchildren, Aldelaide Turner, Rex Turner, Luke Hall and Allie Hall; his siblings-in-law, Patrick Turner and Mary "Mickey" Turner; and his close friend Jerry Reynolds. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
