It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth V. Cook of Jamestown, Kentucky, who passed away on March 13, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Effie Mann (Elmore) and Marvin Mann; her husband John Earl Cook; and her siblings, Amy Hadley, Irene Helm, Barbara Fields, Bobby, Cordell and Charles Mann.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathleen Jackson (Jim) of Jamestown, KY.; her granddaughters, Vicki Coffey and Delania Hogue; and her great grandchildren, Nathaniel and Megan Coffey.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel (202 N Main St, Jamestown, KY 42629). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
