She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bernard Hayden and Marietta Hayden; her brother Joseph "Joe" Benton; her children, Judy Sheroan (Larry) and David Benton (Penny); her brother Rick Hayden; her grandchildren, Scott, Stephanie, Ashley and Jason; her great grandchild Joshua; her husband Joe Benton; and her children, Steve Benton and Theresa Hogan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ratterman & Sons Chapel (3800 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Michael Cemetery (1153 Charles St, Louisville, KY 40204). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Michael Cemetery (1300 Ellison Ave, Louisville, KY 40204).
