He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Andrew, Sr. and Allie Mae Bruner (Preston); and his brother Larry Bruner. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Bruner (Wheatley); his daughters, Dawn Marie Spencer (Daron Haag) and Patricia Ann Forbis (Jammie); his grandchildren, Hailee Schweickhardt (Marshall McCune), Andrew Thomas Spencer (Cathern), Allie Vogt (Jordan) and Dereck Forbis; his great grandchildren, Malcolm McCune and Churchill Spencer; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaelin Howell (James), Trey Schmidt (Courtney), Maggie Howell and Silas Howell; his sisters-in-law, Anita Holt and Della Schmidt (Bob); and his friend Ed Holt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home (10600 Taylorsville Rd, Jeffersontown, KY 40299). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
